Today's Run


Today's Photos

Canadian geese!! It's so awesome to see the real deal. We had a lot of these in South FL...except they were plastic and they were set up in ponds to scare away the Muscovy ducks. Haha...
Started to get closer to these guys until I remembered they are geese and geese can be vicious creatures that should be avoided at all cost. Believe me I know-my grandfather kept geese as "guard dogs" when we were kids...

The hill I did sets on. Sprint up, jog down, for 1 minute. It was steeper than it looks, and the grass was slippery

Today's Workout
5 minute warmup walk. Discovered the big park is only 5 minutes from the apartment if you go straight!
Turned park into playground:
1 minute jog
3 minute walk
1 minute jog
3 minute walk
1 minute drills
3 minute walk
1 minute jog
3 minute walk
1 minute hill reps
3 minute walk
1 minute jog
3 minute walk
1 minute jog
15 minute cooldown/walk home


The next 3 days are off days because of work and having to go to the barn afterwards.

    1. Right now I'm not sure. You did remind me that I was meaning to get a pedometer! :) Based on past walking/running speeds, about 2-3 miles per "run". This run in particular was definitely a 3-miler, and wouldn't be surprised if the walk-sprint session was also a 3-miler.

    1. They were! Luckily the weather was helpful-it was a really nice day out. Hill sprints in uber hot, muggy weather suck.
